Samsung KX is their flagship store. It is an iconic building structure as a “floating scallop” above the recently developed and supertrendy Coal Drops Yard in Kings Cross. We are super excited about our collaboration with Samsung to bring you a very special experience for our VIP Guests. We will be doing a Showcase Social with all our main A List stars in an intimate setting with only 70 of our VIP ticket holders. We will be doing something cool with Samsung tech (to be revealed on the day) and recording in 4K on cinema cameras, so you get a chance to dance with the stars and be caught in action. It also happens to be the most wonderful theater, with amazing seating, a lighting system, and a giant screen. It promises to be a very special experience for those who choose it.
The store is located a short walk from Kings Cross, making it directly accessible by train and tube from Gatwick or Heathrow airport and only 10 minutes by tube (with no changes) from our Haverstock Venue, where we will be holding our general social after the VIP Showcase social, and a short walk from Camden, our masterclass venue.
The Camden is where we are holding our Masterclasses and our Sunday Official Afterparty. The Camden is a well-known nightspot in Camden and has excellent wooden floors, a fantastic sound system, and a very smart bar.
The Camden is a short walk from the Samsung Store and directly opposite the tube, which takes you directly to Haverstock School in 3 minutes.
This is our main festival and where all of our general classes, our private lessons, our general socials, and our artists’ hours social take place. Haverstock is the home of SBK Dancing in London. Some of you will know it if you’ve been to our partner’s Festival ABCD before or to one of Fadi K, Super Mario, West Coast Swing, or UKDC Zouk’s weekly classes and socials.
It has five large rooms with wooden floors we can use, so you have dedicated rooms for Salsa Cubano, Salsa Cross Body (On1 and On2), Bachata, Kizomba, and private lessons. What’s more, we can run multi-room socials so you have dedicated music for your genre, and we can operate till 3 am with food and drink and parking on the premises.
It’s in a great location. Directly opposite the tube, which runs 24/7 on the weekend and in zone 2 in central London, with only one easy switch to get there directly from Heathrow (Elizabeth then Northern Line). It is situated a short walk from Camden, the home of live music in London, with an array of cool shops and trendy markets and lots of food options, and a lovely walk along the canal. In the other direction, it’s a short walk to Hampstead and Hampstead Heath—one of the leafiest and most artistic (lots of famous actors and singers live here) and affluent parts of London, with its largest green space. And a short walk in the other direction is Regent’s Park and London Zoo, both a must for any visitor.
